Terms of service

Effective: October 23, 2026 · Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SEO Rank SERP LLC, the company that runs SixteenKind. Please read them: by using the site, you agree to them.

The short version

  • The free tests and guides are for self-reflection and entertainment. They are not psychological, medical, career or hiring advice.
  • SixteenKind Pro is a one-time $29 (USD) payment for access to extra digital content. It is not a subscription.
  • If you are not happy, you can get a full refund within 14 days. See the refund policy.
  • SixteenKind is independent and not affiliated with The Myers-Briggs Company.
  • If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to fix it. These terms are governed by Delaware law.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SixteenKind website at sixteenkind.com and everything offered on it (the “Service”). The Service is provided by SEO Rank SERP LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, located at 8 The Green, Dover, Delaware 19901, USA (“SixteenKind”, “we”, “us”).

By using the Service, creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and to our privacy policy, cookie policy and refund policy, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who can use SixteenKind

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 16 to create an account if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. To buy SixteenKind Pro you must be an adult who can enter into a binding contract where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You may not use the Service if the law prohibits you from doing so.

3. What SixteenKind is

SixteenKind offers free personality tests based on the widely known 16-type model, plain-English guides to the 16 types and their cognitive functions, and type compatibility pages. SixteenKind Pro is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks additional digital content, such as a personal report (viewable online and as a PDF), a personal growth plan and an in-depth assessment. The pricing page describes what is currently included.

Everything is delivered online, in your browser. Nothing is shipped. We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

4. Not professional advice

Our tests, results and content are for self-reflection, education and entertainment only. They are not psychological, psychiatric, medical, clinical, counselling, legal, financial, career or hiring advice, diagnosis or treatment.

  • Results are based on your own answers and on general type descriptions. They may not describe you accurately, and they can change over time.
  • Do not use results to make decisions about anyone’s employment, hiring, promotion, admission, credit, insurance or similar opportunities.
  • If you are struggling with your mental health, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

SixteenKind is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Myers-Briggs Company or the Myers & Briggs Foundation. MBTI, Myers-Briggs and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Our tests are our own and are not the official MBTI® assessment.

5. Your account

You need an account to buy and use SixteenKind Pro. You currently sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure and for activity under your account. Please tell us promptly at build100k@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. One account is for one person; you may not share, sell or transfer it.

6. Buying SixteenKind Pro

Price and payment

SixteenKind Pro costs $29 in US dollars as a single, one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Any sales tax, VAT or similar tax that applies will be shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms. Your bank may charge its own fees, such as for currency conversion. We may change the price for future purchases, but that will not affect a purchase you have already made.

What you get

When your payment is confirmed, we grant your account a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the SixteenKind Pro content for your own personal, non-commercial use, for as long as the Service is offered. You are buying access to digital content, not ownership of it. Access is usually immediate after payment.

Changes to Pro content

We may improve, update or reorganize Pro content over time. We will not materially reduce what Pro includes for people who have already paid without offering a fair remedy, such as a refund.

Pricing errors

If a clear error in price or description occurs, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.

7. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, with no reason needed. Our refund policy explains how, and also describes rights you may have under consumer law where you live. Nothing in these Terms limits those legal rights.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • copy, resell, republish, redistribute or publicly share Pro content or our tests, except for sharing your own results through the links we provide;
  • use automated means (such as bots, scrapers or crawlers) to access or copy the Service in bulk, other than standard search engine indexing;
  • try to get around payment, sign-in or access controls, or access content you have not paid for;
  • interfere with, overload, probe or attack the Service or its security;
  • use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or harass, mislead or harm others;
  • use our content to train, build or improve competing products or machine learning models without our written permission;
  • present results as an official, clinical or professional assessment, or use them in hiring or similar decisions.

9. Our content and intellectual property

The Service and its content, including the tests and questions, scoring, written guides, Pro content, the 16 characters and their illustrations, symbols, logos, the SixteenKind name, design and software, are owned by SEO Rank SERP LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Except for the limited rights we expressly grant in these Terms, we reserve all rights. The 16-type model and the four-letter type codes are widely used and are not claimed as ours.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

10. Your results and share links

Your results are yours. Share links contain your scores in the web address so that anyone with the link can view them. You decide whether to share them, and you are responsible for what you share. By sharing a link, you allow us to display that result page to whoever opens it. We do not publish your results or attach your name to them.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google for sign-in and Stripe for payments, and may link to other websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely accurate, or that results will meet your expectations. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you. This section does not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SEO Rank SERP LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms; and
  • our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SEO Rank SERP LLC from claims, losses and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach or negligence, and it does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing build100k@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account, or remove access to Pro, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, commit fraud (including fraudulent chargebacks), or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account without good cause, or if we stop offering SixteenKind Pro, we will offer you a fair refund. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and disputes) will continue.

16. Disputes and governing law

Talk to us first

Most problems can be solved quickly. Before starting any formal claim, please email build100k@gmail.com with a short description of the issue and what you would like us to do. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days, and ask you to do the same.

Governing law and courts

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute is not resolved informally, it will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

17. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Changes do not apply to purchases made before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

18. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreements on the subject.
  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part will be applied to the greatest extent allowed.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right right away, we do not give it up.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and your rights will not be reduced as a result.
  • Events outside our control: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Notices: we may contact you at the email address on your account. You can contact us at the email below.
  • Language: these Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only.
